Team T-Junction
T-Junction is a recreational area located just outside the main entrance of Nanyang Polytechnic where students can unwind from stress and take a break from studying. T-Junction consists KTV rooms, pool tables, the green room (Study room) and T-Cafe. The objective of this system to ensure that students will have a pleasant, smooth experience at T-Junction, while the staff can have insights on its operations.
Students' Pain Points
There is no Feedback platform specfically for T-Junction. There is only the general feedback form on the student portal, or approach the staff directly which may not be possible if they are busy.
In the morning and evening, there will be a long line of students at T-Cafe to grab a drink or snack. Sometimes, some students are in a rush but due to the line, go to lessons hungry and unable to concentrate.
At that time, Nanyang Polytechnic was trialing a new booking system. Unfortunately, the system was not only buggy but also not mobile friendly. Sometimes, the system will report that a facility is booked when it is not, while a booking was made but the staff is unable to find that booking.

Booking System - Allow Students to book facilities at T-Junction and Staff to manage the bookings
T-Cafe Ordering System - Students can order ahead to skip the queue and just pay and collect their food and drinks
Feedback System - Provide a platform to allow students to feedback about T-Junction directlty to the staff
T-Junction Loyalty System - Rewards students to keep coming to T-Junction by offerring discounts at T-Junction for continued visits
Operations Analytics System - Data such as Student vists trends and most popular items at T-Cafe will provide Staff with information to better plan their operations.
